Pioneer Village Senior in Moses Lake, Washington was voted
into second place for best apartment community in the entire Columbia Basin in
the Columbia
Basin Herald: 2022 Best of the Basin. The Columbia Basin is a vast geographical
province in southeastern Washington State encompassing many cities including
Yakima, Wenatchee, Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco.
Pioneer Village Senior is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit
(LIHTC) community for households with one or more member aged 55 and older. The
community offers 84 apartments consisting of one and two-bedroom homes.
Apartments at Pioneer Village feature dishwashers and microwaves for
convenience and all utilities are included. Pioneer Village residents also
enjoy a variety of community amenities including a fitness center, library and

Cambridge Management, Inc. assumed management of Pioneer
Village in 2020. Since then, staff have made a tremendous effort to encourage
resident feedback and open channels of communication throughout the community.
“We want to ensure we are checking all the boxes for what
our residents need and want from their community,” said Danielle Small,
Associate Director of Property Management for Cambridge Management.
Small has been hands-on with the Pioneer Village management
team through an event called Donuts with Danielle, an open house where
residents came to discuss their experiences with the Associate Director.
“It’s important that they know we care about their
feedback,” she said, “And who doesn’t love donuts?”
